MEET
Renee
My name is Renée Sample, and I am running for Frisco ISD Board of Trustees, Place 2.
I am a wife and mother of four FISD graduates, and my passion for education and community service has been a guiding force in my life. My involvement with Frisco ISD began through PTA at both the elementary and middle school levels. I spent 10 years as a substitute teacher, including a long-term position, which gave me firsthand experience in the classroom—both from the teacher’s perspective and in understanding students’ needs.
Currently, I serve as an FISD mentor and am a member of the district’s Legislative Leadership Committee. I completed the Board Leadership Academy and previously served on the District Advisory Committee. As the past president of the Frisco Education Foundation, I worked to support students through scholarships, educator grants, and programs like the Mindbender Academy and the Incubator EDU program. Beyond FISD, I serve on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council and various community organizations and boards.
